Prospect Nelson est un groupe de hard rock franco-canadien formé à Hawkesbury en 2017. Le groupe est composé de Wes (guitare et chant), Frankybone (basse et moustache) et Mike (batterie et sans moustache).
Prospect Nelson tire son nom d'une intersection dans leur ville natale qui mène à un quartier qui était jadis réservé à un groupe restreint de personnes. Aujourd'hui, il n'y a plus de restrictions et la région est accessible à tous. C'est ce que Prospect Nelson vise à faire avec leur musique ; abattant les barrières entre les différents genres, langues et cultures.
En 2018, Prospect Nelson a sorti son album éponyme avec des styles allant du hard rock au soft-rock mélodique. Ils se sont engagés à ne jamais se limiter à un seul genre; leur capacité d'attention ne pouvait pas le supporter.
Entre 2020 et 2021, le groupe retourne en studio, et sort un single, Une Autre Histoire, et leur enregistrement live, Prospect Nelson : Live au Raven Street Studios. Au fur et à mesure que les salles ouvraient, ils ont agressivement organisé autant de spectacles que possible. En 2022, Prospect Nelson a signé un accord de distribution avec Hell for Breakfast et a lancé un EP de 5 chansons, Faces, en août 2022.

Prospect Nelson are a French Canadian Hard Rock band formed in Hawkesbury in 2017. The band consists of Wes (Guitar & Vocals), Frankybone (Bass & Moustache), and Mike (Drums & No Moustache).
Prospect Nelson takes their name from an intersection in their hometown that led to a neighborhood that used to be reserved to a select group of people. Today, there are no restrictions and the area is accessible to all. This is what Prospect Nelson aims to do with their music; tearing down barriers between different genres, languages, and cultures.
In 2018, Prospect Nelson released their self-titled album with styles ranging from hard rock, to melodic soft-rock. They made a commitment to never restrict themselves to one genre; their attention spans couldn’t handle it. They take pride in having a show where at any given moment, a crowd could be slam-dancing or slow-dancing.
Between 2020 and 2021, the band went back into the studio, and released a single, Une Autre Histoire, and their live recording, Prospect Nelson: Live au Raven Street Studios. As venues reopened, they aggressively took on as many shows as they could. In 2022, Prospect Nelson signed a distribution deal with Hell for Breakfast, and released a 5-song EP, Faces, in August 2022.
